Let's talk about this washed Ethiopian
Mikiyas Bogale inherited a washing station from his father in 2020, and works with producers in the Idido area and produces around 300 bags of coffee per year.
The washing station is based in Idido area of Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia and is renowned for its washed coffee with floral and citric qualities and its lively flavor. Mikiyas purchases ripe, red cherries and perform a presorting. Pulping is done with an "Agard" local pulping machine.
Afterwards, the coffee is fermented and washed and then dried in a raised African bed. After checking moisture and finish more defect sorting, they put the coffees in a warehouse.
