Let's talk about Santa Teresita
This unique maracaturra variety was planted some years ago on Santa Teresita and Los Nogales Farm. Maracaturra is a cross between Maragogype and Caturra. It grows less cherries per tree-lower yield- but the cherries are much larger than caturra (its relative Maragogype has even more enormous beans). Maracaturra is blowing us away as a carbonic maceration natural with cupping notes of berry preserves, fruit sugars and rose water. This coffee has been processed in carbonic maceration for 167h resulting in a deep and complexed profile.
