Let's talk about the Brazilian Arara
The Arara variety is grown at altitudes between 1000-1150 m.a.s.l. produced by Inacio Urban. Inacio is part of a traditional coffee farming family with both first and second generations, the father and his older children own a 1755 hectare farm, Rio Brilhante.
The Arara variety is a dinstiguished coffee in Brazil, showcasing its high-quality attributes in coffee competitions organized by the Brazilian Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA). Arara is a natural mutation between the Obáta variety and Yellow Icatu. It is high-yielding and resistant to borer beeteles and other pests. It is known as the "Brazillian Gesha" because its quality and cup profile performance have scored the 90 points on several occasions.
